The Villages Medical Centre in Send Barnes Lane - tel. 01483 226330 is Send and Ripley's doctors Surgery. There is also an on-site pharmacy.
The Medical Centre is open:
Mondays 8am to 7pm
Tuesday to Fridays 8am to 6pm.
The Doctors based at the Surgery are Dr A Burns, Dr K Nevin, Dr A Ghouze and Dr C Allen.
Out of hours, you will be referred to Thamesdoc (0208 390 9990). There is a walk-in NHS clinic in Woking. NHS direct can give advice over the phone - call 0845 4647
When you need to see the physio at Send Villages Surgery, you will be treated by Louise, part of the Mobile Physio team. Although Mobile Physio has a contract with the PCT, this doesn't cover all the treatments that Mobile Physio undertakes and none of the home visits to the elderly or housebound. The NHS, as with all organisations in these difficult times, needs to manage their business and one effective way that they do this is through longer waiting times. We aim to be able to keep our waiting times as short as possible and so actually relieve pain rather than hope it will just go away in time. Charitable donations enable us to undertake far more treatments than the NHS is prepared to pay for - and all visits to the elderly and housebound in their own homes.
