New eco-project in the village
In 2010, Send First School would like to install an 8.5 KWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system to generate electricity for the school and sell any surplus electricity back to the grid. It will help the school to reduce its carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels and work towards the government's target of making all schools sustainable by 2020. The school are currently raising funds for this project and are two thirds of the way there. If you would like some more information or would like to sponsor the project please email sendfirstschool@send.surrey.sch.uk
