In Send there are two schools in the village and the area is also covered by the George Abbot School catchment area at secondary level. There are also playgroups and nurseries within the village.

Children in Send usually move on to George Abbot School in Guildford, however the admission priority area is redrawn each year. In 2003 the admission area did not include all of Send.
