Guildford Borough Council is planning to allocate 16 sites around Send for development work, many of which are in the Green Belt they are Listed here under the Ward of Send.

These sites can all be seen on the ward map and further details can be found on each of the sites:
Send Ward proposed sites - part 1
Send Ward proposed sites - part 2
Lovelace - proposed site runs from Ripley to Send including by Nature Reserve (Site 72)
We have until the 30th of January to put our comments in either for or against these proposals. This can be done online (I recommend this unless you feel like printing off the 12 pages of form available). Basically go YES to "Do you have any comments on sites proposed so far?" and then fill in the appropriate details for each site. All the Site Reference Numbers are available here.
The proposed Traveller site is on Send Hill and is Reference NO. 163 - Address: Disused Sandpit, Send Hill, Send . This is likely to be the biggest concern to most residents however, there are also a range of sites that will be directly behind peoples houses that they should also comment on those.
There is also a large site being planned on land opposite Potters Lane up to Burpham for residential use within the green belt. Details of this site are under Burpham Ward Site Reference 221.
Please Email this to all Send Residents you know and spread the word.
