The Send Parish Plan is the plan of action, taking into consideration all the views of the villagers, in order to improve life living in Send Village.

Remember the Parish Plan Questionnaire that went to every house in Send in May? Well the results have been analysed, and summary of them was delivered to every house with the latest Ripley and Send Matters Magazine. The is now available on this website for viewing.
What
is a Parish Plan?
It is a plan for the community produced by the community. The results are
used to form a plan for local community action and the plan can be used
to help you influence others. The difference between this and any other
surveys is that the community themselves set the questions and the methods
of consultation.
Community Input
A questionnaire was distributed to every household in the Send Parish during the week of 1st to 7th May 2006, asking residents to give their views on all aspects of life in Send village. The response was excellent, with about 60% of the questionnaires returned.
All of this is being achieved solely by a team of volunteers, and the support of all those involved is greatly appreciated.
More than 400 requests for specific information, including offers of assistance, were added to the questionnaires, and these are being processed as quickly as possible.
