Best Self Help Books
After more than a decade of public speaking, I have been asked thousands of times for my personal best self help books that have most made the biggest impression in my life. It is extremely flattering and humbling to be asked to contribute such an insightful book review. However, I’m just not good at picking out a book that has actually helped me. In fact, sometimes I would rather give up than pick one up.

So, here you are, my top 20 best self help books of all time. It is not an edited or ranked list. It is simply my personal selection based on my own preferences for how to learn and grow personally and professionally. Hopefully, it will be of some use to you as well.
Number Four, from James Claiborne, Ph.D., “The New Age Science of Self-Improvement” This book is considered by many to be the bible of the best self help programs. The principles explored in this program are unique and amazingly powerful. James Claiborne, M.D., teaches that we all possess the power of positive thinking and that our thoughts, feelings and emotions have the power to manifest our reality. He also believes that the key to self-improvement is centering on the present and living in the moment. By practicing these principles on a daily basis you will notice positive changes in your life almost immediately.

Number Three, “The Answer to every Question: A Classic Secret Book on How to Become Successful in Life” byuckley Pelham is another classic. I had read it several years ago and was very impressed with the way it changed my life for the better. This book discusses many topics including creativity, passion, self-confidence, making mistakes, self-esteem, setting goals and much more. It answers the question, what is happiness? What are the secrets to success?
Number two, “The Science of Getting Rich: Two Different Paths to the same End” by Napoleon Hill is one of the best self help books I have ever read. Napoleon Hill covers different aspects of success in his book including the mindset you must have in order to succeed and how it can be achieved. The book also provides you with his formula for success, which is simple and easy to understand. After reading this book I felt a sense of peace and fulfillment and knew exactly what I wanted to do in life. Napoleon Hill also gives wonderful information on how to set goals and how to stay motivated throughout the hardest times. I highly recommend this book if you are struggling with any sort of problem in your life.
Number one, “The Power of Full Engagement: The Science of Getting What You Want by Stephen R. Covey” by Stephen R. Covey is an interesting little book on how to get what you want out of life. In this book, he shares with us some of his experiences in getting what he wants out of life. I enjoyed reading this little book and learned a lot from it. The main thing I like about this book is that it gives you an overall view of how to succeed. It also provides an insight into why you may be having problems in achieving success with your business or personal life.
